Sounds great in theory and as a joke, but I would be appalled on moral and ethical grounds if Arsenal threw a match just to affect a rival team
I can't find anything specific that says you're not allowed to throw/sandbag, etc. but I think the 6th bullet of the Owner's Charter would allow the league to punish them:
"We understand the importance of a football pyramid that rewards success on the pitch, upholds promotion and relegation and qualification for other competitions by current sporting merit."
I think some people forget that these are athletes that have had one word seared into their brains since they were 5 - "WIN".
They're going to go 1-0 up but end up losing 1-4.
Don't expect anything from them, they are awful.
They do have an astonishing record against City, tbf. I don't expect anything, but I am hoping they'll trip Pep up.
