Some obnoxious fans will celebrate if City win but the idea that any of their players are going to throw is nonsense.
You would think so. I would hate to think our players would do the same thing just to spite Spurs.
Sounds great in theory and as a joke, but I would be appalled on moral and ethical grounds if Arsenal threw a match just to affect a rival team
I can't find anything specific that says you're not allowed to throw/sandbag, etc. but I think the 6th bullet of the Owner's Charter would allow the league to punish them:
"We understand the importance of a football pyramid that rewards success on the pitch, upholds promotion and relegation and qualification for other competitions by current sporting merit."
I think some people forget that these are athletes that have had one word seared into their brains since they were 5 - "WIN".
