I’ve seen a lot of stuff with J Lo in it and never once did I come away thinking she was someone who could play a serious sci fi role.
This trailer kinda affirms that, a lot.

I did come away from this thinking she could do well as a cheerfully out of touch middle-aged mom who is pretty sure she's a dork, but isn't 100% convinced she is.
I guess if the trailer just makes me focus on someone pretending to be the character, it was probably miscast. The rest of the trailer also looks like expensive B-movie half-assery a la Red Notice, so I'm not going to get too worked up over it, though.
The whole thing, unfortunately, just doesn't look particularly good. Usually Sci-Fi shows are either complete trash or get cancelled after a couple seasons (typically when the plot thickens).
She is a strong actress, I really liked her in Shades of Blue. But yeah, she can't really play in sci fi.... It's just green screens and computers.
:/
I was excited by the thumbnail and it was all downhill from there.
Halfway through I thought it had hit rock bottom but it kept going downhill.
Netflix has really gone downhill.
Looks like cgi all over... Like a cartoon.
Seems like a fence swing. I'm intrigued.
AI writers are already planting the seeds of "You should trust AI. AI keeps you alive."
Deranged nutjobs are already infesting the fediverse with moronic conspiracy bullshit.
Besides J.Lo and the CGI special effects and pedestrian plot, it looks almost interesting.
