It now uses custom Flux and is still free and adless if u make an account. I'm making a new gen since it just dropped today and many previous gens of ppl have to be updated SO ITS CHAOS. Here's my old gen link if u want to check Perchance's new ai out. use a custom button to not have it manipulate the prompt. Anyway, again Im theoretically advertising (how bad of me) since BP is my gen, but idc I dont need views and im making the next generation of it rather than touch it. thats basically a link so u can check out the update if you want. Feel free to check out others on Perchance; i havent since the update. To me the new perchance image genning feels lacking in a few ways, tho it does now feel modern, creative, and the dev says the model is still training so it will improve. It also feels great for 'free'. It also still does nudity and pron. Anyway, enjoy!

also if u know any javascript have fun making your very own ai art gen on perchance

I've had various chats with ppl, usually nonartists, that believe all art is humans building on what humans b4 have made and nothing is truly original. Anyway, so i think nah and most of my own stuff is not from any human thing. But I am also aware of when it is, and that is what I show you today.

Like a trillion minutes in to Desert Dragon, I thought it a fitting place to do something inspired by 1:07 minutes in to dunderpatrullen's Face Against the Gardin which is an absolutely heavenly stream of notes that are less individual notes and more an undulating wave of pure harmony.

I then immediately do another inspired thing, this time from 3:54 of Ott's Jack's Cheese and Bread Snack which is like a giant string of nonsense and then suddenly a voice comes in saying "One." blah blah blah. While I used a synth instead of a voice, I was inspired by the tone and how it suddenly gives structure to the sands of everythingness.

so the part is 3:40 in Desert Dragon and it came out different than both inspirations (as inspired things should) and pretty cool imo

spoileri'm going to remix this song on my second round of releases because I started editing it more already cuz i thought the ending lame. My rules for remixing are ask me if u want to remix something and you probably can with 50%50% $ split :) you can release teh remix on your account or i can (tho i reserve the right to decline if I don't want it on my artist account). Also each round of releases I will have one slot open for remixing someone else's thing, with same rules in reverse. If interested, show me a constant tempo piece of yours you have in mind. Thank you.

Feel free to horrifically ban me forever since this is a video and song I personally made and thus advertising. I think it turned out great tho. Video content was made entirely with Hailuo and entirely on phone (audio made mostly on computer). The eyes are iffy on alot of clips and low definition and filled literally to the brim with slop, if you look for it, on nearly every scene. I think the storytelling is wonderful tho and feels great making vast stories.

My musicvid character looks slightly different than the person here so I can't use this clip. Rather share it than disappear it tho. I think it's cool how high quality and imaginative it is; a good example of ai creativity.

I realized what DEI was (sh.itjust.works)
submitted 1 month ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

I indirectly realized what DEI was, realized a fundamental aspect of lefty thought, and that apparently I'm not a lefty.

The story starts with Gender Neutrality. A little while ago, the Trump Administration made military testing Gender Neutral and I watched as there was tons of opposition by the lemmy lefties. So, over the last few days, I dug more in to it and, sure enough, the vast majority of lemmy lefties are viciously against Gender Neutrality. Highly for gender Equality; but highly against gender Neutrality.

I came up with various iffy reasonings, like that Gender Neutrality is a removing of gender instead of respecting chosen genders; but meh. The interesting thing is what I noticed under the surface. The main reasoning for hate against the gender neutral military tests is that it was assumed they would be passed by a larger amount of males than females. This is where I started to realize DEI. The lefty approach is to manipulate the tests so women have easier tests and males have harder tests; thus resulting in a genderbalanced military.

So, in a job, same approach. If not 'enough' minorities are in a job, manipulate the variables so that there are more.

So what is this? The lefty way to create equality? Unbalance the playing field just right so there are equal amounts of different types of people? The cost of Equality, gained in this way, is removal of Neutrality (sexual and ethnic).

Anyway, this was a fascinating realization; and I had kept hearing about DEI and suddenly deeply understand it along with the fight against it. So what is the best approach?

My initial thought is that periods of DEI alternating with periods of not DEI seems best unless the culture is high in appreciation of diversity with a norm of naturally bringing in diverse types of people. The reason for alternating times of DEI and not DEI is so that the norm of diversity can be created through DEI, and then, through a period of notDEI, evolution can occur naturally without artificial forces. It's like training wheels. Without change, some people are blocked from where they want to be. So DEI it up to allow them to be where was previously blocked to them. But remove DEI every once in a while and see if that "norm of naturally bringing in diverse types of people" has arisen yet. If it has, the training wheels are no longer needed; because the goal is not to forever force people to 'do the right thing', but to have a culture where the norm is to naturally do it themselves.

Anyway, I naturally prefer Neutrality, which I realize now blocks the lefty ability to create Equality. Really is fascinating. Thoughts?

treatment of people independent of gender

I had, for some reason, associated the Left with the concept of 'Gender Neutrality'. Multiple recent experiences have shown me this was a faulty assumption. It became most clear with the massive negative feedback I got when questioning why, in 'killed even the women and children', it is still in modern day considered worse to kill a woman than a man. But there was a hint the Left is not actually associated with gender neutrality right before when the Trump administration had made military testing Gender Neutral (same test for everyone independent of gender). I was surprised that decision came from the Right and also surprised the massive opposition was by lefty lemmys.

I know some species of birds have the genders become very different from each other and some, like Vultures, have females and males that are nearly indistinguishable. It, after-the-fact, makes sense to me that Gender Neutrality (treatment of people independent of gender) is potentially a different thing from the 'Gender Rights' fought for by the Left. Anyway, so I have been awoken recently to Gender Neutrality not actually being of the Left, acceptable to the Right, and I am most curious in which ideology 'Gender Neutrality' is the accepted 'correct' view. So

Which ideology is associated with "Gender Neutrality"?

edit: I do now see how Gender Neutrality is the removal of gender distinctions whereas the ideal of the Left is chooseable gender distinctions.

idk ive seen some crazy complicated stuff woven together by people who cant code. I've got a friend who has no job and is trying to make a living off coding while, for 15+ years being totally unable to learn coding. Some of the things they make are surprisingly complex. Tho also, and the person mentioned here may do similarly, they don't ONLY use ai. They use Github alot too. They make nearly nothing themself, but go thru github and basically combine large chunks of code others have made with ai generated code. Somehow they do it well enough to have done things with servers, cryptocurrency, etc... all the while not knowing any coding language.

Hilarious and true.

last week some new up and coming coder was showing me their tons and tons of sites made with the help of chatGPT. They all look great on the front end. So I tried to use one. Error. Tried to use another. Error. Mentioned the errors and they brushed it off. I am 99% sure they do not have the coding experience to fix the errors. I politely disconnected from them at that point.

What's worse is when a noncoder asks me, a coder, to look over and fix their ai generated code. My response is "no, but if you set aside an hour I will teach you how HTML works so you can fix it yourself." Never has one of these kids asking ai to code things accepted which, to me, means they aren't worth my time. Don't let them use you like that. You aren't another tool they can combine with ai to generate things correctly without having to learn things themselves.

"Now, I understand why so few companies have attempted to develop a life simulation game. The challenge isn't just additive the more you try to build—it's exponential. At a certain point, finding bugs in this vast world we've created feels like playing tag with invisible ghosts."

He's not bragging; it's honesty. I'm thankful he is sharing the experience. I know totally what he's talking about. I remember trying to make a simulation of reality in the wc3 map editor in elementary school. Add the weather so the plants grow. Tie growth variables also in to deer eating them. wolves eat the deer. So everything needs hunger variables. But already we start having the 'exponential growth' he is talking about: because what about the Weather and the Deer? And the Weather and Wolves? Add aspect of the world for one type of object (weather for plants), and suddenly you have to figure out how or whether it relates to everything else you have (Deer and Wolves). Now let's say we add villagers and Structures. Every time we add something, we have more nodes to consider the interrelations of.

It's easy when there are few systems and few types of things (like a cardgame of creatures with atk and def), but it escalates quick and does exactly what he's saying the more systems you try to accurately include and farther toward 'full life sim'.

So im just a noob, but I see clearly this is what he is conveying to us. (probably cuz i tried a similar path in elementary school. if i remember correctly i ran in to this same issue, scale was too big too big project and i switched to something else. it exponentialed quick; just like he says)

edit: i bet he wasnt brave as much as did not forsee the exponentialness aspect and wanting to aim high caused him to fall in to it

ironically, this leftish area has caused me to go from thinking the right was terrible and the left was good to realizing there are really annoyingly aggressive people on both sides. I generally can't stand oppression, so I am naturally on the side opposed to antiLGBTQ oppressors, racists, and sexists; which causes me to fall on the left side. But, now being in a leftish area a while, I dislike how the sheer vilifying and mob mentality disrupts calm logical thought. I will get downvotes for saying this (and that's exactly my point), but, for example, if I were to think a policy of trump or elon was smart and good, you know there is no way i could mention it without 80 downvotes and constant personal attacks. If Trump liked gummi bears, saying 'thats cool gummi bears are good' would instantly result in 40 people yelling how terrible Gummi Bears are... because Trump likes them.

So lemmy caused me to go from leftist to instead having a distinction between respectful, nonaggressive people and those that aren't. I would value a respectful, wellmeaning republican that I can have a meaningful conversation with (even if I disagree), over an aggressive lefty attacking any hint of an ideology other than their own.

Ok, so you are telepathically asking me my entire review of the DenyDefendDepose case? Sure.

First I think with trillions of people highly supportive across social media, even reaching out to a supportive stranger and staying inside their house 3 months would have been a more legit escape plan than 'hang out in public'.

This case caused me to do my research in to healthcare and learn how America is the only developed country without Universal Healthcare and spends more for lower lifeexpectancy, more people uninsured, and more preventable deaths than other nations.

I think it could not have been any other way and I myself am like "ceos bad", but that the healthcare execs rejoiced when things went the way of 'kill all ceos' instead of 'reform american healthcare system' since attainable goal of Universal Healthcare was replaced by something that would encounter widespread resistance.

Also I compare this to the suffragette bombing campaign and, altho the media of the time was highly against them, I think it no coincidence that less than 5 years later suffrage happened. There was a time lawmakers did not have to fear stepping outside. But a few attacks later and stepping outside had become something with risk attached. Does not surprise me they then passed women's suffrage.

I personally think that, while destroying the elites in general is a noble goal, we are basically not there yet. My hope is that the next high profile 'terrorism' is again directed at american health insurance execs. Hopefully elites then view healthcare as their weakness where people are boiling over and view their position as salvageable if they deal with it by instituting Universal Healthcare to replace the american health insurance racket. We would then, at that point, choose to push farther but having attained an improvement along the way.

I also noticed that in no Mangione thread was anyone saying "come join our group pushing for american health insurance reform!" There felt like no larger joinable structure for supporting Luigi's cause and pushing it through to completion in an intelligent and strategic way.

What should we do? If you aren't a terrorist, I think we should simply keep Mangione in the public eye. Back to the suffragettes, them just complaining for years is like a person who has a chipped tooth and knows they should go to the dentist but they indefinitely put it off. Suffragettes starting their bombing campaign is when the tooth becomes painful. Do it enough and the person is like 'f this' and goes to the dentist. The more we focus on Luigi and Luigi copycats, the greater the sensation of pain to those troubled by him and their resulting fear.

Im in the greatest and freest country with no problems at all in the world, America, and our local fedex called me and figured out where I was since i basically have an unfindable property in another unfindable property which is indistinguishable from 7 other neighboring properties. My guess is they did something like this map because now they arrive without issue. Was a pleasant surprise since i thought they would not care and not deliver
