NeoVim with tmux is pretty awesome.

Some people like Helix though.

Windows UI is just one giant cluster of dark patterns.

Yeah but everyone in the files are no surprise. Linus would definitely be surprising. You can probably picture everyone that is in the files and you will probably be correct.

So are phony lawsuits the new bribe-out-in-the-open technique?

You probably already know this but you have to expand the dates of your search because it saves the email content securely on your hard drive before searching.

There are some quirks to get used to on both but neither are off-putting.

I don't like the scrolling on either and think the message box defaults too small sharing space with too much other stuff. But it's the same in both platforms.

Found no reason to subject myself to the jvm and corporate ethos once rust came out but Scala was pretty sweet for the hot second I was using it

My laptop is encrypted but once it's open I turn the password off because I just get tired of typing the password every time I sit down. I'm not too worried about people in my house digging into my laptop. Text messages OTOH, is a whole other level.

Proton has almost the same feel and layout.

I keep a librewolf browser with a profile named BS that I use for logging into these services. You could do something like that to log into these services once every few months to keep it active until you're ready to completely let go.

And btw, most of these services are open source. Although it would have been nice to see peertube on there

What's wrong with their desktop application? I remember using it 5 to 7 years ago and it seemed fine. I just found out to be weird to keep my text messages on a computer that anybody can see that might use my computer so I quit using the desktop version.

Three other family members and myself have at almost the same time and for completely different reasons became interested in or needed to become acquainted with image art of some form.

I wanted to find "The Tutorial" to share with everyone so we could relate bettter.

Trying to watch the game and do i really want to stare at this BS?

No google. I don't want your data mining creep. But of course you're going to make it difficult to remove your intrusion without breaking. I know it's bad just by the fact that i am unable to remove the message. And there is a timer for how long you long press as proof that i know what i am doing when i decide to sell my soul.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this trash without actually trashing my tv?

Is it required to have an email server to have a proper instance running?

I don't mind setting up an email server if so as it would be another fun endeavor.
