That depends on the rules of the promo community you have in mind. For !newcommunities@lemmy.world I guess that's a "no", that is not intended for delta chat groups.

One that comes to my mind is the one about the toe nails. Even after fixing typos and adding a picture I still don't get what they were asking.

If you cannot find a dedicated community for the topic feel free to ask here. As you already noted we advise against asking for medical advice but everything else is OK.

Please do not seek mental, medical and professional help here. Breaking this community rule will not get you or your post removed, but it will put you at risk, and possibly in danger.

"Ask Lemmy" has an explicit "no US politics" rule. That's why your comment got deleted.

This seems like spam to me.

I love EVE Online, but "multiboxing" was tricky for me in Linux. I like using the CLI for everything I can, but get completely swamped still when dealing with cocktails like Lutris, WINE prefixes, and dependencies.

So I was super interested when I stumbled upon Bottles - it seemed to solve a lot of my issues. Then, I realized GNOME's workspaces basically did the same thing as the old Windows program I used... and that was all she wrote. It worked perfectly for me, why overthink it?

I recorded my newbie solution to (hopefully) convince other players to switch. Do you have any advice or corrections for me? Did I make a cardinal sin? Is this the dumbest thing you've ever seen? Hit me with your honest takes. <3

Nein, eine Pflicht gibt es nicht.

I do know now...and it is no fun to scoop them up slowboating in a carrier.

Nullsec ratting (lemmy.world)

Now that my Golem has fallen victim to the increased bastion cycle time (RIP) what should be my next nullsec ratting ship? Go the cheap route and use Ishtars or rather all-in with a ratting carrier?

As was expected the Tranquility Trading Tower in Permimeter was destroyed. I couldn't be there to see the big explosion (and a lot of TiDi I guess). Anyone been there?

Golem looks awesome. Had to try it out even though the increase in bastion cycle time made me a little bit nervous. Here's another shot:

And the torpedo effects are cool too:

What do you think? What do you like (or dislike) in this expansion?

So better get your stuff out or you will have to fetch it from asset safety (and pay for extracting your stuff). Maybe check if you got some high value clones there, could be worth getting them out too.

Asher just announced that the Imperium is leaving the TTC. This will probably spell the end for TTT highsec markets.

If the performance weakness continues for a week or two, the agency would start recommending decreasing spend with Reddit or directing it to other platforms.

This underlines the fact that a two day blackout won't have any significant effect on reddit. But when advertisers decrease their spend, that's when it's going to hurt.

The latest expansion is now online: Viridian Expansion - Now Live

CCP messed up the patch notes. I could have sworn they contained more details a few hours ago: Patch Notes - Version 21.05

In case you missed it: CCP offers 7 days of Omega for free.

Hi fellow capsuleers and friends of EVE Online.

Maybe you are a Reddit refugee or a long time Lemmy user. Doesn't matter, welcome to this community. I don't know where this is heading, we will give it a try and see if this can be a fun community for us.

So go ahead and fill it with life, post whatever happens in the EVE universe and have fun.
