Pretty glad I skipped the current gen consoles - my last one was an Xbox one S. Still have it around to play DVDs and blu ray lol. Steam deck has been the best gaming purchase and I don't see myself going back.

It's like Christmas at Jackie Chan's house!

I think the most fun I've ever had with Gex is watching Dunkey's videos making fun of it lol

It's a fun game with some nice visuals but for whatever reason I lose interest fairly quickly. Like it's a nice little Saturday afternoon game - I'll have some fun with it and then move on to the next thing. Worth the $5 or so it goes on sale for quite frequently

For value I like silicon power cards. I use them in my handhelds and my dash cams and they have all been solid.

Samsung Evo cards are really good too, I use one in the steam deck. Russ from Retro Game Corp usually posts when they go on sale on Amazon.

So I had this problem on my modded GBA, my solution was to ever so slightly loosen the screws on the dpad side of the shell. Turned out I was over tightening them

The Retro Future made a hilarious parody of those videos, I think he was pretty fed up with them

If durability is a concern with the switch I'd definitely recommend you play docked with a pro controller or 8bitdo controller as your joycons will start to drift - happened to me about 1.5 to 2 years into owning mine.

I haven't owned a PlayStation since PS3 but it sounds like PS5 is a solid choice for you

If this device had the OnionOS/GarlicOS experience it would be the perfect device for me. Regardless of that it comes with me every day to work. It's the best vertical form factor for longer play sessions IMO. Just wanted to show some love!

Yes! It seemed like there was always someone trying to prove how wrong you are or how much more right they are no matter the topic. I'm trying to break myself out of the lurking habit and engage more here.

I'm playing it right now, it's pretty fun! Playing on the Miyoo Mini+, having turbo and fast forward is a huge plus for battles.

Looks like the seller I got it from restocked:

I used some new user coupons to get the price down from $50 to $35. Good luck!

I sold my original Mini as it eventually ended up sitting in a case in a drawer rather than actually being played, partly because the form factor was so small but mainly because of all the reports of broken fragile screens from short drops like 2ft onto carpet.

I recently couldn't resist the temptation to get a $35 MM+ from Temu and now that I have it I have a similar concern- is the MM+ as fragile as the original?
