Neat, I'm jumping on a Boeing 737-700 in about 8 hours. Nice knowin ya while it lasted.

I still extensively use:

Win+R

ncpa.cpl

It's still the only way I know how to easily and quickly change my NIC settings.

The worst part is to change some things it adds like an extra 4 clicks to the old method.

I never thought about it like that before. Having children is an unpaid job. So true.

I just report spam and block these types. It's a them problem, not a me problem.

I have a lot of acquaintances in my field that seem to have no problem changing jobs every 1-2 years and keep doing better each time.

I gave up on this a long time ago. Phone screens are big enough, or a laptop if you own one, and ear buds. Done.

When I can't middle mouse it right click to open a button in a new tab. It makes it harder to get back to the exact same spot, loaded how it was, to repeat the same task for the next button.

I was still quoted 40K CAD. 20 year ROI. Not feasible for me.

Classic google. Add this to the Google app graveyard.

We currently have ansible, solarwinds and librenms in our environment but ran into an issue recently where a config setting was lost. I know ansible can check these things but then I'll have to configure email and stuff I guess to send alerts? What solution are you using?

Experts say Ottawa is playing more of a role in housing, which is mostly a provincial and territorial responsibility, but federal involvement hasn't brought much relief amid rising home prices.

Five hundred million years ago, the ancient, shallow sea in what is now British Columbia teemed with unusual creatures unlike any alive today. But there's one you'd recognize if it swam by: A jellyfish much like those that pulse through today's oceans.

Scientists say fossils found in Canada's Burgess Shale are the oldest-known creatures that we would recognize as jellyfish — and they were likely the terrors of the sea during the Cambrian geological period.

You're in for a world of hurt. Email security is a pain in the ass. I used to do this full time and I'm so glad I don't have to anymore.

Not trying to discourage you, it's fun, it's cool, but it can be a real PITA.
