Maybe we need web directories again, like what Yahoo originally was.
Even this archived version is showing me the paywall.
It looks like they killed the Linux version.
How about water usage rates that penalize bulk consumers instead of giving them cheaper rates?
It then gave these migrants “notices,” in English only, declaring that they would be deported immediately, without stating that they could contest their deportations in court.
Suddenly the executive order that English is the official language of the United States became a lot more clear in it's purpose.
If you want to get non-techy users, then there is absolutely no need to even use the word fediverse or to try to explain what any of this means. If you want to help a friend get onboard, just send them a link to sign up on the same server that you use, or a nice general purpose server. That's it. They sign up, they use it, and THEN they can start to learn about fediverse shit if they care to.
Headline talks about AI, article talks about algorithms. Chasing that click bait I see.
When I was in school (long ago), I always kept to myself, never bothered anyone, but people still picked on me sometimes. Once I was sitting in class and another kid put me in a headlock, for no particular reason. He probably expected me to do nothing. I didn't want to hurt him or start a commotion, but I punched right at his nose, and pulled my punch right before making contact. Well, this must have startled him a great deal, because he jumped back while letting out a loud fart. It reeked. The teacher came into the classroom and she had to clear everyone out because it smelled so bad. But anyways, I don't think he ever messed with me again.
So basically, see if you can make them fart in front of everyone.
Rejecting evidence that is right in front of our eyes because of some kind of religious faith or political beliefs.
Yeah... In sure malware is the reason. It's not that they don't want people using discord for file hosting.
I use the subscription feed and it's how I've always used YouTube. I certainly don't want it giving me random notifications. It's not like I need to drop what I'm doing during the day just because someone published a video. When I want to watch videos, I'll go check my subscriptions.

I found Freakazoid to be hilarious when I was in my teens, even though a lot of the jokes felt like they were written for my parents. It's a fairly short series too, at least compared to a lot of the other kids shows.
