I have not rewatched much and I prefer the Monster of the Week episodes, but I remember a scene from a Mythology episode in which Mulder does a quite theatrical reveal in which a document that someone wanted destroyed and lost to memory is passed via the oral tradition of a Native American tribe in perpetuity.

I cannot find any proof of it existing, nor can my friends, such that we are starting to fear Mandela Effect.

Can you help with at least the name of the episode if not a link to the scene itself?

Peg: You know, you've got a lot of nerve. Did I come over to your house when you won the Women in Banking award?

Marcy: Yes, you did! And you stole a whole chicken!

An 90s TV theme tune that I'll always remember from my childhood…

This theme was used for both the intro and outro music of the show, and was actually composed by Pete Shelley of The Buzzcocks.

This is the closest I can find to a reasonable quality, complete version of the track, along with some same-era footage of the tour.

Debating on doing a re-watch of this. I do remember there's an abundance of very dated 90s slang, so I either gotta gear up or go all in and embrace it.

  • Show: Red Dwarf
  • Episode: "Stoke Me a Clipper" (Series 7, Episode 2)
  • Original air date: 24th January 1997
  • Scene: Ace Rimmer wrestles an alligator out of an exploding plane without a parachute, captures and then surfs the gator through the sky to bite the head off a Nazi in mid-air and then rescues a beautiful princess from a Wehrmacht firing squad on a rocket-powered motorbike. I mean, do you know anything more awesomer than that?

Growing up in the 90s, my first exposure to Mull was in StTW as the crotchety, vindictive, humorless, principal. The dude's actually hilarious in just about everything else, and it took me a long time seeing him in other roles to shake the uptight principal image out of my head.

Nina: But you HAVE to come! I'm making my secret punch.

Maya: What? Vodka and food coloring?

Nina: Who told you?!

Had to hand-craft this GIF from my DVD box set as there is a massive lack of JSM! gifs on the internet.

Side note: Vodka and food coloring is pretty much how I mix my drinks these days

This was a few years before Ally McBeal propelled her into stardom.

I would say a great deal of my TV nostalgia is for the 90s, however I do frequently have an overlap with the latter half of the 80s. It obviously isn't exactly appropriate for this community.

Is there any interest in my creating an 80s TV sister community?

Carter "stole" a Game Gear from a hemophiliac, to try to cheer up a young cancer patient. They are going to have a Mortal Kombat competition, with the young patient wanting to be Johnny Cage.

Honestly, I just thought it was cool to see a Sega Game Gear make a TV appearance. I miss this kind of stuff.
