Agreed! I won't consider donating to them until they drop it.

You may want to read Why not Signal?, but I still use it.

This is incredibly important because regular container vessels pollute like you wouldn't believe.

Just thought I'd share this while I'm putting it through its paces and attempting to make a break from Proton Mail: I'm using KashCal to sync Fastmail calendars to Android (well, Graphene), and so far they seem to play well together as well as with Betterbird.

What's nice about this app is that it has the functionality of DAVx5 built into it, and also it has some good calendar widgets. Not in any way associated with the programmer, just thought I'd pass this along.

EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention—when I first tried signing in to KashCal, it didn't accept my Fastmail password. Almost immediately afterward I got a message from Fastmail directing me to its web version where it asked me to authorize the KashCal API (?) and it generated a special password that Fastmail will only use with KashCal, for security/privacy reasons, just in case. Kudos to Fastmail for making that part so easy.

So I guess it will be the Chinese who will get to greet the monolith. 🇨🇳

Even so, glad that Artemis II got back safe and sound; I still have Challenger- and Columbia-related anxiety after all these years.

Perhaps some intrepid souls could arrange to kidnap Trump and Melania and deliver them to the Hague.

Was just about to post this before @yogthos@lemmy.ml beat me to the punch. 🙂👍

Why are so many projects still on Microsoft-owned github? They should follow OM's lead.

Hey Dems, don't try to resist or anything!

Putin's (very) useful idiot is now in the process of completing his work destroying the US federal government. Hope state governments can pick up the slack, because they'll have to.

EDIT: And, surprise! Red states are more dependent on federal funding than blue states are.
