Uncover why a basic piece of equipment is now indispensable in simracing. It ensures your concentration remains sharp and your body temperature stays low throughout demanding races, enhancing peak performance and reducing overheating disruptions.

Finally got a chance to run an imsa fixed race at silverstone! in iracing.

Weather said rain unlikely: that was a lie.

It lightly rained the whole race.

Qualified P2 with a lucky lap in the wet, but fell back to P3 at the start of the race.

Tried to overcut P2, but didn't have the pace.

P3 finish in the LMP2 class.

Super fun race.

Week 6 of Season 4, 2024: Got in a few races.

Started off with IndyCar Fixed at Long Beach, started 9th and finished 6th.

Next, IMSA Fixed at Road Atlanta (one of my favorite tracks!), started 14th and finished 11th.

Ended the week strong with a P3 finish in the PCC at Road Atlanta!

How was your week?

I just posted a similar response but I think the issue, at least for me, is how deep into the weeds I get with each subject. Anyone can be into coffee for example, but it's the ones who do the research and watch the videos about the subject in their free time, that make a simple thing such as coffee become more of an obscure thing. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Seems like every hobby is too obscure for most to care at the level I do. Sim racing, rtlsdr, self hosting, ANY kind of motorsports, home automation, blogging, DND, video games... At the surface these are not too obscure but I find very few people in my day to day life that care about them in detailed way

Divinity original sin 2 id assume. Great game as well by Larian.

Yep...that entire situation is so crappy. The devs deserved better.

Torrent galaxy rune release. However not seeing any issues? Malwarebytes scans coming up clean. No integritycheck folder in app data. No hidden process running when game running. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ?

Agreed. I tried using sync this morning and just ended up back on connect. There are a couple of things like how hidden posts work/scroll past that I prefer how connect handles them. Id say sync has ever so slightly more polish on the ui front? maybe? but im super happy with Connect. Great dev.

Nice. Got it installed and walking through settings. Seems nice so far. Not sure about ultra pricing though..

Beeper.com ? They have a selfhosted option. I'm using the non-self hosted as of today and it's been pretty great. Mainly sms bridge and discord bridge are what I have been using.

That's my understanding of it. It is apparently common in the rodent family.

Lifespan: Chinchillas have a long lifespan, and potential owners should be prepared for a commitment that could last 10 to 20 years.

Social creatures: Chinchillas are social animals and may benefit from having a same-sex companion to prevent loneliness and boredom.

Special diet: They require a specialized diet consisting of high-fiber hay, chinchilla pellets, and occasional treats. They should not be fed sugary or fatty foods.

Dust baths: Chinchillas need regular dust baths to keep their fur clean and healthy. The dust absorbs excess oils and moisture from their fur.

Temperature sensitivity: Chinchillas are sensitive to heat and should be kept in a cool environment, ideally between 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit (15-21 degrees Celsius).

No water baths: They should never be bathed with water as their dense fur takes a long time to dry and can lead to health issues.

Chewing habits: Chinchillas have constantly growing teeth, and they need appropriate chew toys to prevent dental problems.

Escape artists: Chinchillas are excellent escape artists, so their cages and play areas need to be secure.

Regular exercise: They need opportunities for exercise and playtime outside of their cage.

Veterinary care: Regular check-ups with an exotic pet veterinarian are crucial to monitor their health and catch any potential issues early on.

Quiet and calm environment: Chinchillas are sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements, so a calm living environment is beneficial for their well-being.

Time and attention: Chinchillas are active and curious animals, requiring daily interaction and mental stimulation.

So. Much. Poop.

Man that's a jump. My issue is leaving the fairly good pay. But I think it's going to need to happen soon.
