hi I'm kinda ignorant when it comes to current events related to politics, can you please tell me if the Israel Palestine conflict has any relation to the Iran thing or are they two separate things happening right now?

I saw this car with this message on his window and it occurred to me I have no idea what's going on in the world. I just hear things in the news and hardly comprehend them and ignore them. My definition of ignorant is IGNORing things I don't understand.

What is a thing that haunts you that is more of a second or other hand memory/mental impression rather than a direct experience or set of conditions you had to work within? Note: different from ghost which is something that was presen and now is absent)

It didnt originate with or become a part of you, it just left an original-less copy of a compass that seeks to influence you in impossible directions/choices derived from an experience/set of conditions by which you were seemingly affected but never actually objectively experienced?

I guess a concrete example like a 911 near-miss anecdote is good or maybe Im way off but feel free to write. Im feeling pensive

Feels like its gone the way of caves. Cars used to be decliffed from an unfortunately placed banana peel (see Billy Madison)

With all these pics from the Artemis, including ones from the earth; why don't we see any satellites and other stuff that circles the earth? Are they too small to see at these distances? Still, i would expect some of them to at least glint in the sunlight.

Update; thanks for confirming it's indeed that they are too small to see. Also, i didn't think of the pixels, good point.

Not the regular mechanics or rules or anything. Interested in this as an allegory for regular life stuff and coping with uncertainty but being able to thrive in spite of all that

I like when i come across a new word to try and use it as many times as I find organic to substitute for a similar word so i get use to using it in the right context or close enough

For example, I came across the word

yeet(ed)

Or maybe just ended up passively recalling it having never truly used it in my daily parole/verbatim—anyway, I've used it like 3-4 times today in my posts and now, I, too, feel like I can yeet in my sleep

I'm having vodka for the first time in years so hopefully i dont yeet up my gutz tn

Edit: i might be thinking of that hotel-california-esque hotel in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians book(s) where years go by

Its lobby has been sort of criticized as a postmodern nightmare by many critics, how did you find it?

Seems like a scary place to be high for sure
