Nothing, AFAIK. Maybe the compound itself has a smell in large quantities, but the pills don't.

A few days ago. The pharmacy was out of the pills my son usually takes, so he got some that were much bigger. So we agreed to crush a pill and mix it with some yoghurt.

I always thought it had a slightly plastic-like chemical smell, but that's probably just the binding and buffering materials.
