Not the regular mechanics or rules or anything. Interested in this as an allegory for regular life stuff and coping with uncertainty but being able to thrive in spite of all that

The best poker game is the one you play with good friends for low stakes to have fun.

If you're looking for an allegory for life, works that way, too.

Not what you asked, but if you have N hours to invest, I personally don't think that improving one's poker game is going to be the most-efficacious way to improve life elsewhere in terms of that time investment.
