FIFA could sponsor NJT and cover the fees for the burden they're placing on these systems and how they're disrupting the commutes of the workers, but they're corrupt rich fucks and they won't, they'll just moan.

And to do what? To sell tickets that cost thousands and disrupt the daily lives of people who could only dream of attending what should ostensibly be a sport anyone could enjoy, but they've made into a playground for the rich and the elite.

Fuck FIFA, fuck the world cup.

There's a sickening irony in this being a film made by Warner Brothers. I dunno who else could make it due to IP law, and yet...

A blight brought on by mystical means beyond the control of the hapless out of town merchant who invoked them solely for the opportunity to corner the market with his trove of inferior beer he couldn't sell elsewhere. Once the players figure out the merchant is responsible, it becomes apparent there's a far greater threat in the supernatural causes of the blight and they now must face off with them.

“I’m the only president that ever took a cognitive test. I took it three times. It’s actually a very hard test for a lot of people. It wasn’t hard for me. But it’s a cognitive test,” he brought up in the middle of a Cabinet meeting last month.

“It starts off with an easy question. And by the time you get to the middle, it gets tougher,” he said. “By the time you get to the end, very few people can answer those questions. They get very tough mathematical equations and things.”

This is an insane thing to say about the Montreal Cognitive Assessment. Like a mind bogglingly stupid thing to say. It's got questions like "can you remember these 5 words?" And "Can you draw a cube?" There are zero mathematical equations, it's meant to be a quick test to see if someone is mildly cognitively impaired.

Cool news for us Steam Deck players. The first one runs just fine but the second chugs a bit on settings medium or higher.

Good God what a glorious shirt

God you're so right. Brooks knew how to chew a scene like no other. Only de Lancie came close.

They're fucking up the commuter trains to accommodate the world cup, it's a fucking shit show.

Fuck FIFA, corrupt, greedy bastards taking a working class sport and making it into this monstrosity.

Giamatti upheld a long tradition of villainous scenery chewing on Star Trek in a way I normally would have enjoyed, but it really clanged with the rest of the tone of the show.

Ah, well, All Good Things... right?

Have y'all started playing?

I preloaded it the morning before I left to work and managed to get just a few orders in before it was time to get ready for the next day and sleep.

It feels good to be playing Death Stranding again! The movement seems to feel a little more intuitive than the first one and the combat a little easier to handle. I like that you get the Maser Handgun and a dedicated holster for it right off the bat.

The Steam Deck seems to run the game fairly well, but it might be a bit graphically intense for the platform, I noticed some textures go a little flat at times. It's perfectly playable, but I was hoping to enjoy the gorgeousness of it all a little more while still being on the couch or in bed. Might be a good excuse to see if the cloud save feature works between platforms. It should, right? Steam has been better and better about that as of late.

I haven't run into any BTs just yet, but that's the next order. I wonder how they're gonna handle spotting them without a BB pod...

Well I goofed up. I had gotten two strains with similar names from my local dispensary that sounded nice and were quite potent. One was very ideal. Using it in my dry herb vape gave me 3 sessions at progressively higher temps, very stoned but euphoric and buzzed.

The other felt similar at first but is juuuust enough over my potency limit that I find I get quite anxious and start worrying about any small feeling I get in my body. Unpleasant.

I saw they were having a 40% off sale and picked up a quarter of my new preferred strain annnnd I got it backwards!

Oh well, lesson learned. I have plenty of other grass but now I got all this stuff I kinda don't prefer! I was thinking of seeing if any of my stoner buddies wanna do a swap, but it occurred to me that I could also transform it some way and I didn't know if the cooking process would change the effects enough to make it palatable.

SO, I ask y'all. What's a good use for weed that's just a lil too potent? Is there any altering it to make it useful? Or should I just trade it?
