From what I understood you need statistical tests to detect the watermark. You cannot easily detect by eyeballing that a coin will land on heads 55% of the time instead of 50%

I don't want to ruin everyone's schadenfreude but Microsoft seems to be doing just fine right now 🥲

To be fair I've used both and I get the complaints aimed at each philosophy. At some point, I'm just grateful these projects exist at all and for free. Personally I still think microG is nice to have, flaws and all. My Motorola lasts four days on one charge and I have a gut feeling that not having Play Services constantly running is part of why. Either way you're better off than stock

This was my first time turning boxwood. I wanted to upgrade the handle of my espresso machine's portafilter. I’m really pleased with how smooth it turned out! Should I coat the boxwood, or is it fine as is?

I started from oak lumber, which I cut down to size and then planed. I made six 308 mm wide panels.

To create the pentagons with a 190 mm edge length, I used a table saw and made a jig with an offset at 18 degrees.

The blade angle was set it to 31.7 degrees because, according to Wikipedia, the dihedral angle of a dodecahedron is 2arctan(ϕ), where ϕ is the golden ratio.

For assembly, I used flat glue and secured the joints with tape to ensure everything held together while the adhesive cured. This method allowed for a clean finish.

Now, I just hope my cat will use it! 😉
