Lol, instead of focusing on the bad conditions traffic controllers have to work in (while carrying an enormous responsibility) and acknowledging the additional environmental impact these delays bring, the pilot starts to bootlick:

"It's very annoying," the pilot told the passengers. "It's cost the company a lot of money. It costs business people a lot of money, and it would be great to have this addressed."

Lol, are they complaining that communist are better at capitalism (on an international level) than themselves? Cornering a market and then using it to your own benefit is Capitalism 101

I've been sick the last few days and to pass time I watched a Video from Geopolitical Economy Report, where he states that about 8 percent of the US GDP (I know that that measurement is shit, but it's still the most used one) is attributed to imputed rent from owner-occupied housing and therefor bullshit.

I tried to read up a little on the topic because I have trouble believing that such a bogus figure is included in the GDP, because it doesn't add value. Everything you do in your own home is not work that 'benefits' the economy and if you hire contractors or buy materials it's already included in the GDP. Though the reading material I found is either full of jargon or skips this question.

So now I hope that someone knowledgeable can clarify this: is this rent imputation really just padding for the GDP or does it server another purpose?

Material I used:

And footnote: It's very telling, that capitalist countries view rent as an important part of their economy agony-deep

I sometimes wonder if 'shareholders' can even be classified as humans. Just the thought of investing in something that is mostly used for offense is fundamentally repulsive to me. And then there are people who just get rich with it and talk about 'passive income'.

Even some fucking militaries see that orders can be morally wrong and give a way out for soldiers (at least on paper). And then you've got capitalists that see a genocide and only think about the financial opportunities without ever having to worry about facing something like the Nürnberg Trails under the current system.

Currently on the front page of the biggest german (state funded) news site:

TL of the headline: Human lives don't count for Hamas

Father down they say that it is the opinion/experience of a german spy that negotiated between Palestine and Isn'treal. But I'm so sick of the the state narrative here. Just pure anti-palestine propaganda and they don't even try to hide it, they call it 'reason of the state'. The GDR should have lived on, I can't wait for the day when germany-cool happens. Sorry for the small rant.

The whole uncut conference is here with the relevant part starting at 41:41, though it is completely in german with no english subtitles available.

It is baffling to me, how libs don't see (or care) how basic rights are just ignored in germ*ny, when it would be uncomfortable for the settler colonial entity on palestinian soil. I also wonder how slimy one has to be, to weasle your way out of every difficult question when giving a press conference.

Note: I'm not really familiar with DiEM25 or Varoufakis, though they seem to have at least some based takes. But please don't consider this post an endorsement for either.

And obligatory germany-cool

I don't have any numbers on this, but aren't most of russia's refineries from the soviet union? Why would one need western know-how for things that were build by workers (even though capitalists are at the helm now)?

Russia releases wiretapped recording of german military officials discussing Taurus delivery for ukraine

FRANKFURT, March 2 (Reuters) - Germany is investigating an audio recording published in Russian media reported to be a conference call of high-ranking German military officials talking about weapons for Ukraine, sparking concerns of espionage in Germany and calls for clarification from Russia. A German defence ministry spokesperson said on Saturday that it couldn't confirm the authenticity of the recording, but the Federal Office for Military Counterintelligence Service was investigating the matter and all necessary steps would be taken.

The recording can be found here on vk.com. I listened to it and think that it's authentic. Around 30:00 one of them says: "Imagine the press gets wind of this" germany-cool

Edit: The German Ministry of Denfense confirms the authenticity of the recording (Article in germ*n)
