A little while ago we got a new update that allowed us to limit charging to 80% to keep battery health, are you sure you've not got that turned on? As soon as we got the update I switched from adaptive charging to the 80% limit.
I'd say it's closer to £3 than £4, certainly where I am up north.

I've been using Qwant for about a month now on Vivaldi. I'm happy and see no reason to go back to Google full time. What I do miss from Google though is things like showing business opening times when searching
I'm hoping Lemmy grows more so that the niche communities (that were still relatively active on reddit, even for their neichness) can start to have regular threads going.
What I'd also like to see is posts that I can spend 5-10 minutes in because they have more comments than the ~5 we have now.
I just hope this can be policed and makes a big difference.
As someone who proudly wore the Red Cross for many years as a volunteer I felt proud to be part of a global movement of Red Cross, Red Cresent & Red Crystal National Societies. Knowing that international law and the Geneva Conventions mean little to nothing to 'civilized' nations saddens me immensely.
While the "Buy British" campaign focuses on physical goods, we must also address our digital independence. The Dutch parliament's recent steps to reduce reliance on US software highlight the need for greater autonomy in our tech infrastructure. The UK should follow suit, promoting European tech solutions to enhance digital sovereignty and foster domestic innovation. Let's expand the conversation to include both economic and technological independence. I hope the Lib Dems continue to push this.
That maybe so, but why such an excessive stay? Stick her on a plane, sorted.
That's where I am with Lemmy right now. I still have reddit installed, I still dabble on Reddit but over time I'm finding I'm there less and less.
This is the second time I've tried Lemmy and its much more successful, I think it'll be my main social media.
Thanks 😁
The name is also a surname that's important to me

Honestly, I'd stick with Qwant. I know right now it is still using Google but between them and Ecosia they're creating a European index.
I'd rather support them now and show we really do want this.
