the Angles being a fishing people originally

This is EXCELLENT news for the German dub of Monty Python's Holy Grail where Arthur claims to have taught fishing (German "Angeln") to the Saxons ("Sachsen"), making them Anglo-Saxons ("Angelsachsen").

I'm from a very different area and definitely very poorly imitating a stereotype for a very cheap joke :)

Oh right. Hence I fixed that for them to chant "spongebob squarepants" :)

If I know anything about Wordle players, it's that a lot of them get irrationally angry when they deem a word unknowable. Might go as far as throwing ludicrous accusations at game devs.

Edit: i accidentally a word

Real-world Saxon, ironically, has a bit of a low-brow reputation, not a language in which you'd want to hear a Danish prince lament his woes.

Hello,

I'm relatively new to self-hosting, please be gentle. If any of what I'm about to say reveals some egregious lack in understanding, I'm listening :)

I have a cute little Synology NAS on our local LAN through a Fritz Box and I'm quite happy with how I've been able to figure out stuff on my own so far (bit proud of meself here). Using Portainer to manage Immich, Syncthing, Jellyfin, some arrs, Dashy, jDownloader, tinyMediaManager, in the process of setting up Navidrome, looking into ways to block ads that agree with the Fritz Box, it's all very nice and cosy.

The thing is that it's getting a bit difficult to remember what's on which port. Dashy is at 192.168.178.36:4500, Immich is at 192.168.178.36:2283 etc. Which isn't a problem per se but it's not exactly pretty (and I have a husband who isn't interested in all that stuff at all but might want to use some things if he can remember where they are) ~~(also numbers are scawwy)~~.

So, question: is there a way to make these services reachable from inside the LAN at, say, 192.168.178.36/[service name]? Or, even better, something like //[service name]?

Like, a kind of DNS thing to route [service name] to [(NAS IP:)port]? Maybe? I think? I'm behind a CGNAT so I can't go through any external service (I think? right?). I know there are ways around that but I don't need to access my network from the outside for now (and the foreseeable future) so this is lowest priority.

Been trying to figure this out for several days but tbh I don't even know what I'm looking for, so if anyone can even give me some terms to ask the internet about, that would already be progress and I'd be very grateful. Also, please speak slowly i'm new uwu

So this file has been in my collection for absolute ages. I must've found it browsing one of those early music sharing platforms, way way way back in the before times when the internet was new and good and people shared files named with no regard to correctness and "britney_and_christina_tits.mov" was probably goatse.

Any original information about it has of course been lost in several disk migrations, so the fact that it is tagged as "Ayla - Ibiza" means basically nothing. It is called "Ayla - Ibiza.mp3" on my disk and I'm pretty sure it was called that when I got it because I don't know why I would have randomly decided it was by Ayla. Ayla doesn't seem to have anything called "Ibiza", but it might be a remix by Ayla of some other artist's work, maybe? The title "Ibiza" seems logical since there's this deep masculine manly man's voice saying "Ibiza". Shazam gives me a different incorrect result every time I try, other apps I've tried (SoundHound, SongSherlock, etc) have no clue what this is.

I'm not as destitute and poor anymore as I was back when I got the file, I'd actually pay for a legitimate copy, but I can't. Help a (surely very poor) artist get my money?

(By uploading this file to my webspace, am I "distributing" it in the legal sense? Dang.)

edit: Okay, I made it a 2:30 sample.

Weitere Klarstellung: Verdammte Hacke.
