Hi everyone, ive seen this giant painting in Florida and would like to have a painting with the same vibe/image type. Doesnt have to be an obscenely expensive original painting but a copy on linen print is just fine for me. Dimensions roughly 1.5m wide. Looking only for EU sellers, please. Thank you!

Buying there is worse for devs as this is credit card fraud to buy keys and the devs will have to do chargebacks. Devs prefer piracy over key resellers.

I would instead suggest to contact the youtube video creators directly and ask them to upload their content on a peertube instance (and give an example instance link).

As this project appears to be fairly unknown in the fediverse still, I’d like to use this opportunity to advertise Flohmarkt. This Fediverse equivalent of Facebook Marketplace already has some instances up and running - see here: https://codeberg.org/flohmarkt/flohmarkt/wiki/flohmarkt-instances

The developers are always open for discussion on their IRC channel: https://web.libera.chat/?nick=GithubGuest%3F#flohmarkt

Please feel free to host a local instance for your city/town and invite friends and family to post. Flohmarkt relies on local relationships and pick-up items only rather than shipping stuff worldwide.

Feel free to host an US instance :)

Maybe someone may want to put links to Flohmarkt instances on Craigslist or FB Marketplace to put more eyes on it?

Hallo zusammen,

Daher meine Frage an euch - welche Firmen bauen heutzutage zuverlässige, langlebige Herde/Öfen?

Danke für eure Hilfe!

From what I remember, the difference is quality control. Western companies are usually much more restrictive, accepting only every 10th or 100th item from the producer. The subpar items are then sold by the producer somewhere else such as Temu or AliExpress. I also know this to be true for microscopes. Motic produces in China for Zeiss, but Zeiss refuses most of their units due to QC issues, which are then sold by Motic under their own name for a fraction of the Zeiss price.

Rather than block lists, just subscribe to the lemmy communities that interest you and don't subscribe to political/news communities. Then view lemmy through the "subscribed" feed rather than the "all" feed - no political posts - problem solved.

Hi everyone,

as I don't need to do extensive video manipulation but simple cutting/compression of videos as well as extraction from every "nth" video frame to save as picture. I've been using avidemux and VirtualDub in the past for this purpose. However, both avidemux and VirtualDub are last updated in 2012/2023 and thus not up-to-date anymore. Thus, I am now looking for a linux-ready, FOSS, and up-to-date solution to do the same. Shotcut, Kdenlive and OpenShot are much too extensive in features for the simple things that I am looking for it to do. Does anyone here have good recommenations?

Thanks for your help! Temperche
