Finally getting back on the bikes, and these 2 clowns took their first ride in the trailer. They did so good and deserve extra treats. Just ask them

Hey y'all. My partner and I recently had an unexpected demolition in the first floor if our house and realized that we can probably leave room to run water lines for a CatGenie litterbox during the rebuild. Have any of you used them, and if so, are they worth it? We've had litter robot 3s for a few years and are less than impressed with the build quality, so just thinking about upgrading.

Is it possible to have a "style guide" for posting YouTube links? Usually there is just the title of the video and the generic YouTube blurb, and most of the time the title only vaguely tells you what the video is about. It would nice if in the description we could have folks post the length, the name of the creator, and a brief description of the video. If the creator has one, great, use that. If not, just a quick 1 or 2 sentence synopsis. I think this would help engagement for those posts a lot and just create better quality posts for video content. I know I don't watch or comment on any video post that just has a title.

Being out of touch is totally normal human David Zaslav's thing. Remember the Batgirl movie?

Amazon is kinda known for burn and churn. They like have the appearance of a good place to work by not having a dress code, letting people bring dogs in, and being the kind of place that has beer on tap. None of it is worth the burnout though

Meh, it is illegal, but personally I don't find it immoral. Laundry machines like this are just another way for landlords to extract money from their tenants for basic needs. They have them in a captive situation and should be providing either hookups in unit or free laundry facilities.

He left the tweet up. It is still there (from February 17th). Just...wow

It has been so great to see how horrible Vance is as a VP pick. I would hazard a guess that nobody else would say yes to Trump after he was willing to sacrifice Pence.

We went camping for the first time since getting the twin pomskis. They did so good! The fluffier pomski (Bliss) and the little havapoo (Poppy) were in a heated competition for who could bring home more of the forest floor.

I am very excited for the 1.0 release! My friends and I are currently playing a multiplayer game in Update 8, and we are so close to finishing all the space elevator parts for the first time.

Maker Community (beehaw.org)

I don't know if there is enough interest, but is it possible to get a maker community created? Some things like 3d printing don't always quite fit into DIY or Creative.

There is one stockholder that has tried multiple times. The issue is the whole Tesla board are all his cronies, and a large portion of stockholders have bought into the cult of personality

Ford and GM are probably regretting that switch to NACS...

Seriously fuck this day. The innocent pranks are so outweighed by the sheer bullshit, and anything announced can't be taken seriously.

We finished the last piece of the cat path I posted about earlier! This one goes from the laundry room, to the stairwell, and then into the guest bedroom on the upper floor (yes, I know the carpet needs replaced in that closet). They are already using them and seem to love the new path already.

My partner and I have been talking about making some cat paths in our house since long before we owned our house. We recently got 2 new dogs, so now it is a high priority project. The first step was putting up some shelves in the hallway and making a portal from the hallway to the bedroom closet (you can see it just above the tent). The surround for the portal is this 3D printed tunnel

The next project is going to be putting a portal from the spare bedroom into the stairwell so they can go up and down floors without the dogs being in the way

Is no one paying attention or does his base see that as a feature? I have seen folks talking about this shit since his first campaign

I am not a fan of the Guardian, but according to the subject of the article (they call him Li), he is a dissident and was under active investigation. I don't think they would have just let him leave

[-] Vodulas@beehaw.org 37 points 2 years ago

Wow, what a garbage article. Surprise surprise it's origin was Fox News. The amount of sarcasm quotes is kind of impressive, though.

Gods forbid you have to take a look at your privileges then unpack what that means. Oh, and then you have to try and empathize with people that don't have those same privileges. Scandalous.

Todd in the Shadows went a little deeper on that. Mostly saying they were so fit and sexy that they inspired American fitness culture. Which is just not true.

I've played through all 3 acts. Obviously in no way have done everything, but I never ran into a situation where your character would get killed for a bad dialogue choice. The "Volo's eye" event referenced is for sure an example of the telegraphed outcome being the opposite of what actually goes down, but I really can't think of another time that happens. Even that choice did not end in death. Some options end in tough fights, and maybe fights above your level, but I was never surprised by them.

Bringing up save scumming is an odd criticism for a CRPG. That has been a long running discussion, but you can choose not to do it if you don't like it. It doesn't mean it is bad game design to include saving whenever you want.
