  1. Has anyone verified these people can distinguish a bin from pavers or flooring?

  2. Has anyone ever witnessed an electrician utilise a bin in their personal lives? As in is this a professional proclivity og the electricians, or a personal lifestyle choice.

~note: this is a shitpost~

If you're at all aware of what goes in farming in Australia you know it's a massive horror show. From chicken macerators to pig gas chambers animals suffer massively to end up on your plate.

Every Australian I've ever spoken to describes themselves as loving animals, and is horrified at things such as whaling. Most of us even find activities like puppy milling or hunting upsetting.

In light of this; and the knowledge that a few decades ago whaling was a-ok, monkeys didn't matter, and elephants certainly didn't feel pain; what makes you confident that what you were raised to consider beneath consideration actually is?

Eating animals is neither necessary nor nice, so why do it?

Australians love Chicken Salt, other countries i assume have some other crap they call seasoning.

A notable one is MSG, so if an non-australian were to ask 'whats the deal with chicken salt?' Would a reference to MSG be a useful guide?

That's the question. I am not very social so I never really talk to other people in their vans, but I get curious about their experience. Here being anonymous seems ok to ask.

I live in one, in case it's not clear. I know there's a lot of people who do the same so maybe there's someone here. Probably not but it's worth a try. There used to be a van dwellers community on reddit, but mostly americans and instagram people.

Pretty sympathetic to Denmark after 3 packets in one day. That scoville rating is nonsense, spicier than Carolina reapers.

My god damned piss is spicy and no, that's not unwashed hands. Actually spicy piss.

Gods above and below alike help me.

Turns out I'm well and truly behind the times...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superloop_(company)

In June 2021, Superloop acquired Internet service provider Exetel for $110 million in cash and shares.

Exetel had been going steadily downhill since the death of John Linton (his blog was always a highlight back in the day -> https://johnl.blogs.exetel.com.au/ <- a super refreshing and honest look at the behind the scenes of broadband in Australia) but recently tried to sign up an NBN plan with them and it has become a total disaster. Tried ringing support to see what was going with our order and could honestly not understand any of the four support reps I got palmed between. Importantly, they could also not understand me apparently.

Cancelled that order (via email) and opted to try Superloop... only to receive an almost identical template welcome email. Uh oh. A quick Google and DAMMIT, I'm in the trap again.

Have been super happy with Aussie Broadband but given we need to run two connections (NBN + Starlink) just to ensure we can reliably stay online because HFC is a disaster in this area (like all areas probably) I thought I'd try a cheaper provider until the 250/100 plans are released later this year.

Clearly a mistake.
