  1. Has anyone verified these people can distinguish a bin from pavers or flooring?

  2. Has anyone ever witnessed an electrician utilise a bin in their personal lives? As in is this a professional proclivity og the electricians, or a personal lifestyle choice.

~note: this is a shitpost~

No, and most of them don't know what a skip is either.

I believe it is trained out of them during their first year studies, and completely erased during apprenticeship.

The same applies to plumbers, but not gasfitters, which results in odd behaviours in those tradies that are both.

Electrical Engineers, on the other hand know what a bin is, but lack the dexterity to actually get anything into one.

That one apprentice who can't get their qualification because they can't master the subtle art of leaving wire offcuts everywhere.

The blokes who installed our solar didn't leave so much as a screw on the driveway and I was so impressed and also sad as fuck that I was.

Then the guy that came and did the nbn upgrade left 3 unpatched holes in the soffits that I can fix because I can't crane my head up :/

One sparkey we hired to install some lights left sawdust on the carpet, in the roof space, and boot prints on the carpet. I was legitimately flabbergasted. Like are you high? This is my house you idiot. I wasn't paying him bottom dollar either...

This last one is the most like my experience lately. Shut all over the show. I walk around finding offcuts, and little piles of plasterdust where they've been drilling.

Should've seen the insulation batts, feckin everywhere but where they were meant to be. Those bastards went out of their way to leave them in weird angles. Surprised none were left on the chminey!
