Best way to describe it for the uninitiated: think...cinnamon rolls but instead of rolling the dough, you slice it into a bunch of pieces and smash it back together again. After baking, the pieces separate easily
I've never seen it look like fried chicken before, though. This is what I'm used to:

I'm dyin, lol
It's partially because of the weird shaped bundt pan that has weird curves and ridges, but it's also because I was lazy and just dredged chunks of dough rather than meticulously rolled balls. I went easy mode.
Don't get me wrong, I'd eat it in a heartbeat lol
