I think it depends from artist to artist. If I had to generalise - the older the crowd, the more likely people in the seats are going to sit for the entire concert. Lorde and Harry would attract a younger crowd, Lizzo an older crowd. I don't understand how people can sit through a pop/dance/rock/upbeat music concert and so I'll typically get GA tickets.
True, it could definitely be that, noticed a lot of parents with children, both young children and adult children that perhaps would prefer to sit. Thankfully the stands are tiered so no one other than the people beside me are standing at my level behind me (and I'm shortish) so I don't think I obstructed too many peoples views or at least I hope not.
