You're a peculiar little fellow, if you'll pardon the ad hominem. Yes, writers' rooms in general produce very homogenous and bland comedy. I'm going to study Chinese again.
I'm just not sure what TV comedy shows don't have writer's rooms...

You are. And you are also making a bizarre claim that there is no such thing as a funny TV comedy. Unless you can name the funny one without a writer's room.
Also, you must find most comedy movies unfunny since they are usually written by multiple people doing various drafts and touch-ups.
