Stop with the fucking polls... Ffs did anyone learn anything
Hey, maybe instead of ignoring reality we could remember this experience the next time there's an open Democratic primary and pundits are telling us how the moderate one is more electable or whatever? Just a thought!
So surely you were posting a TIDE of stories pushing particular other less-moderate candidates during the time when Biden was getting selected (for 2020 or 2024)? Similar in volume to the current tide of "now that Biden's the guy let's shit all over him" that we're currently seeing?
Because that effort actually sounds super productive to me. Biden has actually been doing fine, but even that being said I'd still like to know what realistic thing I can do to support a Democratic candidate that is younger, for this election or the next one.
Vote uncommitted in the primary
I wrote in Bernie Sanders.
I have no idea if that's even legal or something that counted in my primary. To me, it's not harmful; he's obviously going to win the primaries, so who cares.
I actually like Biden, and don't at all agree with the talking-point pretense that he's not helping the working class or that Gaza is his fault. But he's also old; that's pretty much the only reason I would want to see some other candidate. I'm going to vote for whoever the Democratic nominee is in the general election, because I don't want the end of the world, but yes I would prefer it to be someone younger.
But it was HER year!
