I had a Herbert Adams beef and mushroom pie and it was the most tasteless pie I've ever eaten. They were bought because they were half price. Even that was too much to pay.
That's because they don't add lots of cracked black pepper and red wine
The pastry was bad too.

Yeah exactly. Structurally it worked but it was flavourless.
