The original Vice guides were pretty punk. I bought their first Guide to Travel, which was also the first thing they ever put on video, in a skate shop. I miss that old stuff, it was rad and it still holds up. It was basically Channel 5 before that was a thing. Some random person jumping head first into a weird or fucked up place, with very little preparation.
