Also once again I know wisconcom reads this so hi. Please find something better to do with your time. Leftypedia lets you edit and clearly doesn't care enough to ban you after repeated warnings, why don't you edit stuff about history or anti-revisionism? Yeah essentially, some patsocs decided to purchase lemmygrad.com (we only have lemmygrad.ml) and set up their own lemmy instance (which is possible because lemmy is open source).
Ultimately I sent an email to their host (you can get this info with whois services in 2 seconds) and told them they were infringing on our copyright lol. But hey, it worked.
We never really confirmed who was behind the .com website but it was likely infrared followers, because they made it into a "magacommunism" instance.
After that they didn't try to reopen a lemmy instance and instead posted random pictures of terrible magacommunism posters lol. And now it just doesn't lead to anywhere if you go on it.
