Did he smoke it? Please tell me the Beatles got super high and smoked an entire bass.

Edit: ugh... Not only did they not smoke it, the entire article is two sentences with zero context.

Following the launch of last year's Lost Bass project, Paul’s 1961 Höfner 500/1 bass guitar, which was stolen in 1972, has been returned. The guitar has been authenticated by Höfner and Paul is incredibly grateful to all those involved.

Basically it was stolen in the 70’s and was found recently in someones attic.
