The UK actually has the greatest number of tornadoes per square mile than anywhere on Earth but we don't hear about them because most are under EF3. Sometimes we get supercells similar to the American ones.
Oh wow I never realised I was missing tornado facts from my life but I am genuinely loving learning about this.
I had no idea! I wonder why that is. Thanks so much for that cool tornado fact. Also, your comment led me to learn about the Enhanced Fujima Scale and the Torro scale which is neat!
I had no idea! I'm from the UK and I have definitely felt the winds that kinda felt like tornados, didn't think they might be actual tornadoes!
Some roofs got ripped off a few months ago, t'was in the news. Forget where, want to say Manchester, but I could be wrong.
