Has anyone else watched Fight Club?
I get it's about a paranoid schizophrenic.
What I don't get is it's supposed to be a funny comedy. ( this is what the makers say in the dvd commentaries ) True it has some funny moments.
But to me I see the world in the movie as absurd not funny. There's a lot of events in the movie that are extreme and barely believable but since it's a movie and we are supposed to suspend disbelief anyway I just shrug them off.
It's meant to be funny on rewatch when you realise the twist.
I like the movie but it's gotta be one of the most overrated movies ever
It's good but not cerebral good.
Having said that... Brad Pitt can read the Uzbekistan dictionary for 10 hours and I'll pay attention.
The man has an illegal amount of charisma
the twist made it funny??
And BP is one of those men who are so handsome people don't seem to take much notice of his hard work and talent
Seen it myself awhile ago but I didn’t think it was was funny when I watched it.
Never seen this one. Don’t know how it would go given I know the twist.
