That's insane. It still holds up like it could have been made five years ago.
I'm convinced we might have plateaued in visual quality for effects. And I'm fine with that. The constant race for bigger and better gets old after awhile (for graphics I mean)
You get the same thing with SGA (not so much SG:1 lol) but yeah, anything done since ~ 2003 hasn't really got any massively different effects from now.
