First day back in the office this afternoon so you bet I'm just anxiously sitting about my house until it's time to get ready.

On a brighter note, I did get a phone call from my supervisor earlier to confirm I had all my security tags in check, which gave me the brief opportunity to mention moving out of my position now we've returned to the office. They've said they'd move the conversation up the chain and see what can be done, apparently one of my coworkers has asked to be moved as well.

Are only certain positions required to attend the office for your workplace?

Certain positions and sections are afforded more lenient WFH schedules. Despite my section being the most able to WFH someone in upper management was out to flex their muscles due some politicking that's be going on amongst the ranks.
