FYI: you can't kill a baby through keeping them awake. An adult you can kill this way.

    Neuroplasticity. The infant will attempt to adapt to the surroundings, the adult is "stuck in their ways".

    Isn't the definition of neuroplasticity that the brain will change?

    Edit: I guess more "the brain can change." Still, adult's have Neuroplasticity. That is very well documented.

    Yeah I don't believe you can kill an adult this way unless they aren't used to a lack of sleep. I seem to function ok for a random distribution of 2-4 hours of sleep a night
