How many times does satire and irony posting have to backfire on us before we realize that shit only works if the person is smart enough to be in on the joke; otherwise we're just propagandizing against ourselves.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy was written closer to the erection of the pyramids than to the present day.

Do hitchiker's guides (the terrestrial ones, not the galactic ones) still exist? I don't think I've seen on ein the wild. Does even lonely plaent still exist?
