Pay for 250mbs but never see more than 100… thoughts? (alien.top)

I’m currently paying for Internet service through Cox. My current plan says it’s for 250 Mb per second. But when I do speed tests, I never see anything more than about 100.

Suggestions on what I can do to try to maximize my Internet? My current modem/router combo Says it can handle up to 650 Mb per second.

"Up to". Read the fine print, you are likely getting what you paid for.

The LAN speed test is more than what I paid for. I’m trying to figure out how to have the WiFi improve.
