Tifo Football Podcast: Is too much football causing injuries?

If you only listen to one thing this international break, make it this. A fascinating and absorbing deep dive into the many aspects and problems associated with player fitness.

Especially relevant to Spurs fans right now with so many players either out injured, managing injuries, or returning from injury. It's *much* more complicated than a binary fit/not-fit decision.

Good isn't it. I was much more absorbed by it than I thought I would be. I almost felt I needed to take notes... But even I am not that keen. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I thought the stuff about risk v reward of playing individuals at various stages of injury was interesting, and how players have "superpowers" which they have grown to be robust within. Made me think of how Ange is transforming certain players and how those changes might fall outside the parameters of those existing superpowers and therefore more likely to cause injury.

Opened my eyes to the physical effect, consecutive changes of coaches/game plans, have on players.

Interesting how players themselves hone and develop their physicality, naturally, as a backbone to their skillsets.

If it ain't broke don't fix it๐Ÿ‘

It's like owning a fleet of Ferraris and driving them round the Monaco Grand Prix circuit every week of the season,๐Ÿ˜…

Really informative and enjoyable, tks ๐Ÿ™
