I never really watched tv but occasionally hear the radio. They can push you in any political direction they want, without you even noticing, you just watch. And yes, i don't have to watch or hear if you not want - and exactly that seems to happen.
I agree with the "any political direction they want to", but this also true with the YouTube algorithm or Twitter feed-filter. I see the danger, especially when the media is payed by the state, but it is important to keep in mind that media content companies make money too by pushing you into a direction. The more extreme the direction is, the more screen time a user gives the platform and therefore generates more money.
I agree. I would call it a "bubble problem", which works basically the same for almost all media sites, channels, etc. You want some information from one site/channel about something and then get pulled into their "bubble" through their recommender systems. To exit the "bubble" is the hard part for most users, because they often not realise it.
