In the past, Apple would upgrade any of my HD files to 4K when they added this 4K. At some point, or for whatever reason, not all my movies that RHD have been upgraded.

That’s not an issue with me other than the fact that I would love to know when they are available or eligible to upgrade, even if it makes a new purchase.

When you go to iTunes, if you own the movie, it just tells you what format you own. It doesn’t tell you if it’s available in a better format. Always tells you if it’s available in a lesser format. Does anybody have a definitive way to look at my Movies and decide wait there’s a 4K version?

Huh? OP is saying they’re willing to pay more, they just want some sort of indication or notification that a film is available in a better format that they can upgrade to.
