It shows what you see.

Case in point. I have all four Ghostbusters movies. All in 4K.

When I go to library and look at my 4K movies, the 3rd one doesn’t show. When I go to search for it, I find it and it is indeed a 4K copy.

Mind you that until latest build of tvOS my library didn’t show on my 3 most recent ATV4K models at all (but just fine on the first gen 4K and HD models).

Still.

Anyone?

In the past, Apple would upgrade any of my HD files to 4K when they added this 4K. At some point, or for whatever reason, not all my movies that RHD have been upgraded.

That’s not an issue with me other than the fact that I would love to know when they are available or eligible to upgrade, even if it makes a new purchase.

When you go to iTunes, if you own the movie, it just tells you what format you own. It doesn’t tell you if it’s available in a better format. Always tells you if it’s available in a lesser format. Does anybody have a definitive way to look at my Movies and decide wait there’s a 4K version?
