Mine has to be Dragon Quest: Rocket Slime, a DS spin off of the Dragon Quest series that sees you playing as a slime operating a tank and rescuing the people from your town. You run around the overworld, collecting items to use as ammunition and saving money to upgrade your tank. The art and music are just as great as you'd expect from the Dragon Quest series. It made fantastic use of the DS's dual screens. It's also written for a younger audience, so a lot of it is just really silly and fun! Try it out for sure, I'm so sad there's no sequel :(

Nitrome games were the absolute shit! I loved playing Skyline with my little sister. Or that game where you play as the cats shooting arrows. Or fat cat. Or that one game with the cactus on the rail cart! I get reminded of them fairly often, but it always feels like it's been too long since anybody has spoken about them because they're so great.

God Nitrome was like the Nintendo of flash games, it was so amazing. One of my earliest tech memories was making an email account so I could contact them about working for them when I was a 6 year old on my grandma's computer. At some point, my email signature randomly changed to "deadname and Nitrome" and it made me so excited! So glad Nitrome didn't die with flash, the thought of those games disappearing made me cry
