Least fascist nordic social democracy
From what I understand, the energy companies take the path of least resistance, which means that they also plow through indigenous lands "over there", when they feel there's a greater chance of getting away with it "over there" compared to local indigenous lands.
Seriously, I haven't met a single Norwegian who knew about Pilmaiken before I mentioned it to thon! I myself wasn't aware of Pilmaiken until I got a message about it from a friend from Occupied Palestine, who themself heard it from an indigenous Tumblr blog based in the United Occupation Zones of America!
At least Iceland is too small and insignificant to have any real sway. Id say they're better for that reason

Yeah I was just now looking for photos of Norwegian soldiers, and found a decent number of photos of Norwegian SS volunteers instead..
Dang, and here I had lived under the impression that the Nordic countries were relatively less awful places for Jews compared to the rest of Europe. One of the things I remember reading about the two synagogues in Finland was that they were able to be built in prominent locations whereas in other countries they were often hidden out of view.
Then again, neither of them is very old and Finland's small Jewish community mostly moved here during the time it was part of the Russian empire as traders and merchants which is similar to how Finland's small Tatar Muslim population also arrived.
