- Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
- Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Be the change you want to be my dude! If reading about weird al is what your heart desires, post weird al!
The reason why people like trump and musk get posted a lot is because they are still influencing politics, especially in the US. Additionally, until Trump is formally convicted and (hopefully) struck from the ballot, he's still running for president and still poses a threat to the US.
... and the rest of the world.
If you are an ally of the US, Trump has proven that the relationship means nothing to him and he has no problem removing us from NATO and all other pacts. The world should be concerned.
Because they're not poised to lead our nation into a new era of fascism.
Weird Al can lead me into a new era of fascism.
I am missing this. What do you mean?
Literally nothing, I was just being dumb.
Why are you complaining about a post about the presumed frontrunner on the Republican side of the U.S. presidential election in a community devoted to U.S. politics?
Do you go to Lemmy Shitpost and complain that people need to stop with all the jokes?
Don't click on the link? Or post about weird Al in a political forum for whatever reason weird Al would be in a political forum? Lemmy actually is pretty easy to self moderate. So if you don't want political things then it's really easy to block them.
I wonder what Weird Al is up to... better check the "politics" community
