Calling Hitler vegan is so gross. As if they're saying all the people killed in the Holocaust are less than animals.
You're right, though, there's a disturbing amount of Nazi apologism these days.
I always saw the myth that he was vegetarian as further condemnation on his views since he didn't even view the victims as animals. In reality he only sometimes did vegetarianism because he got gassy. All these defenses of him fall flat pretty fast with even mild education which is just extra depressing.
