Photos with toys, like this one, really made me believe Kiwi were tiny. They're so so much bigger than you think!

In New Zealand, you can see them in sanctuaries! They're huge and look they're wearing MC Hammer pants as they run around. So freaking cute. Just don't make the mistake I did. The birds are Kiwi, the fruit is called kiwifruit. If you say you want to eat a Kiwi from New Zealand, you'll get treated like you're a psycho, threat, and/or moron.

Alternatively "Kiwi" also refers to a New Zealander. Or at least it does if you're Australian.
