Texas right there with you. Never thought I’d see it, but looks like it’s gonna happen.

Please please please don’t fuck this up

How that happens is we don't let them fuck it up. Once the primaries were over, I urged everyone to vote for Democrats not because I love them, but because we desperately needed a check on the Republican corruption and incompetence. And that time is now. We need to contact our newly-elected representatives and demand big, bold action that actually improves people's lives.

Anyone whines about how both sides are the same I'm going to ask them when the last time they contacted their representatives in Congress, or at the state level. Personally, I'll call every day if I have to. Defeatists can say it won't make any difference, but when we constantly call them out and demand meaningful action, we force them to listen. Public pressure works, and we can prove it...

Latest results I'm seeing from Texas are calling one senator and the governorship for Dems.

Attorney General, Lt Governor, and Railroad Commissioner look like they will also follow suit.

    Attorney General

That's a big deal, isn't it? I seem to remember Texas's Attorney General being a huge piece of shit who was causing major problems.

Funny enough the Attorney General was Ken Paxton who is a huge piece of shit that decided to run for Senate and lost spectacularly. His replacement Mayes Middleton doesn’t look like he’s going to win.
