I agree, the democrat party in particular does give room to socialist policies on a more local level, just look at Mamdani (and hopefully Al-Sayed in a few weeks). If you elect enough of those and get rid of the "nothing ever happens" democrats like Schumer and Jeffreys, you can make real change happen.

Good luck trying to do that on the Republican side, the most you'll do is vote for someone who's slightly less Hitler but still very conservative.
